Bring Jamie to your audience

Keynotes, workshops, panels, and podcasts. Every session is built for the room it is in, and people leave with something they can use that week.

The Adoption Gap

Organizations are buying AI faster than their people can absorb it. Why the gap is capability and confidence, and what closing it takes.

AI for the Rest of Us

A practical session for people who do not work in tech. What these tools are good at, where they fail, and how to start on real work this week.

AI for Nonprofits and Small Teams

What AI is worth doing when there is no budget for it and no one whose job it is. Built from our work with Northern Nevada nonprofits.

Citizen Developers

The people who understand how the work gets done are the ones best positioned to automate it. How to find them, train them, and give them room to build.

Jamie Christensen, founder of CitizenWorks

What Jamie brings to the stage

Jamie spent more than 10 years in healthcare operations before founding CitizenWorks. She automated most of her own role, then taught her team to do the same. That became a company-wide citizen developer program built by people with no engineering background.

Long bio

For press kits and speaker pages

Jamie Christensen is the founder of CitizenWorks, an AI workforce development consultancy based in Reno, Nevada.

She spent more than 10 years in healthcare operations, building programs from the ground up inside hospitals and care settings. She was the person who could make a spreadsheet do things it was never designed to do — ROI calculators, invoicing tools for complex contracts, entire operating systems held together by formulas and resourcefulness. Eventually she automated most of her own role, then taught her team to do the same. That became a company-wide citizen developer program that automated 3,000 hours of work in six months, built by people with no engineering background.

She left corporate and started CitizenWorks, named for the citizen developers she had been championing all along. Today she helps organizations close the adoption gap between the AI tools they have bought and the teams expected to use them.
