CitizenWorks' Work Smarter with AI Workshops are 60–90 minute interactive sessions where business teams work through exercises based on their real roles and walk out with a personal AI action plan they can act on immediately. No slides-and-lectures format. No generic "top 10 AI tools" lists. Every exercise is built around what your team actually does.

Before the session

Every private workshop starts with a strategy call. We learn about your team — their roles, their workflows, what they've tried with AI, what they're afraid of. This is not a formality. It shapes the entire session.

A workshop for a finance team looks different from a workshop for a client services team. The opportunities are different. The resistance points are different. The exercises need to reflect the work people actually do, or the whole thing feels theoretical.

During the session

The session runs 60–90 minutes, virtual or on-site, for teams of 10–100+.

The first 15 minutes: setting the room

We start by naming the elephant. AI is changing how work gets done, and most people in the room have a mix of curiosity and anxiety about it. We acknowledge that directly. No hype. No "AI will transform everything." Just a clear framing: we're here to figure out where AI helps in your specific work, where it doesn't, and what you can do about it starting now.

The middle: role-based exercises

This is where the session earns its keep. Your team works through structured exercises based on their actual roles and workflows. Not hypotheticals. Not "imagine a scenario where..."

Each exercise follows the same pattern:

  1. Identify a specific, recurring task in your role
  2. Assess where AI could help (and where it can't)
  3. Test it — live, in the session
  4. Evaluate the output honestly

The room gets loud during this part. People start showing each other what they found. That energy is the point — it's the moment AI stops being abstract and becomes practical.

The last 20 minutes: action plans

Every participant writes a personal AI action plan. Not a list of tools to try. A commitment: "I'm going to use AI for [specific task] starting [specific date] and I expect it to save me [specific amount of time]."

These plans are the deliverable. Not "insights." Not "awareness." A written plan with a specific next step.

After the session

Every private workshop includes a post-session summary — key themes we observed, patterns across the team, and recommended next steps. This goes to the organizer and leadership so they know what their team is thinking and where the biggest opportunities are.

For most teams, the workshop answers the question "should we do something with AI?" and replaces it with "here's exactly what we should do."

What comes after

A single workshop is the starting line. It creates shared language, surfaces opportunities, and gives everyone a plan.

For teams that want to go deeper, the next step is usually an AI Strategy Circle — recurring facilitation where the group works through real AI challenges together over time. Or for organizations ready to go all-in, a Transformation Partner engagement that embeds CitizenWorks alongside the team for 6–12 months.

But the workshop stands on its own. 60–90 minutes. Your team walks out with a plan. That's the promise.

Work Smarter with AI Workshops are available as single sessions or multi-part series, virtual or on-site, for teams of 10–100+. Starting at $1,500.
